CREATIVE INFLUENCE Im from the generation caught between post -modernism and a digital technology.As such ,i'am influenced by things concerning pop-culture like MTV's,the movies , street fashion , glossy mag ads and urban lifestyle.I draw inspiration from the visually stimulating aspects of these diverse elements to capture the look,the feel and the attitude i want to achieve.I understand the power and potency of make-up as a medium...that it is more than just an expression of personal style or an acquired techinique for a beauty enhancement.It is no longer just a tool ,but rather ,it has envolved into an artform with which every woman could be both the painter and the canvas. MOST IMPORTANT TOOL: CHOICE ! Decision making is a fundamental part of doing your make-up.Selecting the look that will best suit your personality ,lifestyle ,facial shape and features,skintone and personal tastes is integral.Determining FAVORITE FEATURE SKIN- there's a reason why foundation is applied to the skin.Because the skin in our faces is the foundation and the cornerstone of the effective make-up.Carefully -applied and flawlessly made-up skin allows for both " no make-up" style to look perfect.Whereas poorly-prepared make-up on the skin will ruin any kind of look you have in mind regardless of how well you did the eyes or the lips. |
